Employment Benefits
Each employee's job performance is integral to
the success of the company. In order to ensure employees are healthy, rewarded
and passionate about their roles, we do our best to offer a competitive
benefits package.
Health Insurance
We have a group plan with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida that provides
excellent coverage. New employees may enroll and the insurance may become
effective by the first of the month following 30 days of employment. We also have dental and optical coverage included
in our health insurance program.
Paid Time Off
25 days (15 vacation, personal or sick days plus 10 holidays). Additional
days with continued service.
401(k)/Savings and Investment Plan
Opportunities to set up and contribute to a qualified retirement plan are
available after six months of employment. The company will match your contributions
up to three percent of your salary on the first of the month following six
months of employment. If electing to enroll, employees make some contribution
toward monthly premium.
Fitness Membership
We believe in a healthy mind, spirit and body. Therefore, we encourage our
employees to participate in daily exercise for health, clarity and stress
reduction. We'll cover your annual joining fee at the YMCA and we’ll
match your monthly membership fees.
Tuition Reimbursement:
Employees may receive up to 100 percent reimbursement for tuition
costs for up to one approved course per quarter. The reimbursement will
be issued to the employee upon proof of fees paid and upon satisfactorily
completing the course with a grade of "B" or better.
Summer Hours
At AXIA, we're committed to helping employees balance their work
and home lives, so when possible, we close our offices at 3:30 p.m. every Friday
during the summer (June and July).
Flexible Schedule
Client needs come first, but otherwise, employees may select their
preferred eight hour work day schedule after 12 months of employment and
with manager approval.
Employee Referral Program
Employees who successfully refer full-time candidates will receive
a referral bonus.
Professional Association Membership Reimbursement
Employees may join an approved professional or networking organization
of their choice and receive an annual reimbursement of up to $150 after
90 days.
Voting Time
Employees who are registered voters will be granted absence for up
to two hours with pay for the purpose of voting.
Volunteer Program
Because we value community outreach, each full-time employee receives
two hours of additional personal time per month to pursue volunteer interests.
Sept. 11
AXIA has partnered with One Day's Pay, a non-profit organization
leading the effort to establish Sept. 11 as a national day of voluntary
service, charity and compassion. Employees are encouraged to spend their
Sept. 11 workday serving the community in a volunteer role. Employees must
simply submit a request to participate in the One Day's Pay program to their
supervisor along with a brief service plan for that workday.
Computer Purchasing Program
Eligible employees who are interested in purchasing a computer may
receive an interest-free loan for an approved purchase at a discount rate.
Employees pay back such loans through a regular payroll deduction.
Free Checking Account
Employees are eligible for a free checking account and free checks
from the Employee Banking program.
Smoking Cessation Program:
We work to promote and encourage healthy lifestyles for our employees.
In addition to a smoke-free work environment, we offer full-time employees
a monetary bonus to quit smoking.
Training & Development
Each month, AXIA provides professional development programs and team-building
outings, including team retreats, field trips, laser tag, special events
and community service outings. Some of these outings include clients and
vendors, and others are just for the team. See our ADventures section.
Profit Sharing
AXIA offers a quarterly profit sharing bonus program
for employees who meet certain eligibility requirements, including time
of service, client retention, agency performance, as well as quality and
quantity of work performed. Additionally, employees are rewarded for bringing
in new business and for referring new employees.
Free Parking
Yep, free parking. We provide a downtown parking spot for all agency employees.
